Pricing Transparency
Transparent Pricing That Reflects the Work Behind Your Trip
Our planning packages include accommodations for 9 nights, 2 travelers, and up to 2 destinations. This base package covers the comprehensive research, personalized recommendations, and coordination that go into crafting a thoughtful itinerary.
If your trip involves extra travelers, additional nights, more than two destinations, or particularly complex logistics, pricing may adjust accordingly to reflect the additional planning time required. A rush fee also applies for trips that need to be finalized less than 3 months before departure, as expedited planning requires immediate prioritization and faster coordination with partners.
Why Do You Charge Planning Fees?
It’s a fair question. When you book through a travel advisor, we typically earn commissions from select hotels, tour operators, and service providers—so you don’t pay us directly for those bookings. This is how travel advisors make their income.
That said, those commissions rarely cover the full scope of work that goes into planning a truly exceptional trip. Between researching your destination, vetting accommodations and experiences, building a custom itinerary, coordinating bookings, and providing support before and during your travels, each trip typically requires 20+ hours of dedicated attention—often more for complex, multi-destination journeys.
Our planning fee applies in cases where commissions aren’t available or don’t fully compensate for this work. It also serves another important purpose: it signals to our in-destination partners that your booking is a serious, committed reservation. This means you receive prioritized service and the attentive care that turns a good trip into an unforgettable one. In short, the planning fee ensures your travel investment is protected and maximized every step of the way.
Planning an All-Inclusive Experience?
If you’re considering an all-inclusive getaway at a resort, a cruise vacation, or a railway package, these streamlined trips fall under our Basic Planning package – which is a flat rate fee of $50. You’ll still get personalized recommendations and booking support, just with a simpler planning process that matches the nature of these experiences.
Do You Book Flights?
At this time, we only assist with booking premium economy or business class flights for a fee of $50/person.
